Training Goes Global... by Zoom

The Society has had the privilege of training students at Kings College London for the last seven years, to support their pro bono mediation and legal advice clinics.
Over 250 students have already been through the course which SoM runs twice yearly, not only providing them as individuals with a valuable skill set they can take into their burgeoning legal careers but bringing huge benefits to all those who use the KCL Pro Bono clinic. Such is the importance of this work that our faculty were not going to let the small matter of a global pandemic get in the way!
Captain Steve Malcolm OBE, Zoey White and (not shown) Andrea Barnes have now lead two week long, fully subscriibed courses, each spanning 12 countries and 10 time zones via the magic of Zoom. The feedback was blushingly good and we look forward to the next round whether that be back at the Dickinson Poon School of Law here in London or via Zoom, as travel restrictions and safety allows.
If you are a KCL Student and would like to take part in one of our courses then please contact the Pro Bono Society to join the waiting list. We also work with the Helena Kennedy Centre at Sheffield Hallam and are of course always happy to discuss similar schemes with other Law Schools.
